Combining Hypnotherapy with Mindfulness and revolutionary treatment (PSTEC)...
change is real.
offers support for anxiety sufferers.
Hypnosis is a specific state of relaxed focus, in which you will be guided by and respond to suggestions for the benefit of your situation. It is not 'just a relaxed state'. Research continues to be done to show the efficacy of Hypnosis.
I believe that, within time, Hypnosis will be used by the NHS just as Mindfulness is now being prescribed by GPs and rolled out in some schools.
I've been incredibly fortunate to be one of a small number of Therapists, who have been trained in Hypnotherapy and PSTEC by world renowned, Tim Phizackerley, who is most commonly known as 'Britain's Fastest Hypnotist' and creator of PSTEC.
This therapy was created as a potentially superior alternative to therapies such as Counselling and CBT and offers a simplified therapy process, in which positive results can be far more quickly experienced.
It is not only being used to help adults, but is being used in schools with children who have a wide variety of issues and is achieving rave reviews.
Did you know?
(a)"the average participant receiving hypnosis reduced anxiety more than about 79%".
(b)"Hypnosis has come to be recognized as a potent antianxiety intervention which can be incorporated into a wide variety of psychotherapeutic models." (c)“the average client receiving cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy benefited more than at least 70% of clients receiving the same treatment without hypnosis.”
You see, you simply don't have to suffer alone like this.
I am living proof that things don't have to stay the way they are and am a firm believer that with the right Therapist and right techniques for you, change can and will happen.
We don't have to live with anxiety and we can manage our busy brains.
Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to alter, change, adapt and reorganise to new ways of thinking.
If you have suffered from anxiety and stress for a long time, you'll notice that it's now an automatic response for you to feel this way. You may notice that your symptoms are escalating and perhaps you are becoming fearful of more situations than you used to.
If you haven't yet learnt how to show your brain an alternative to anxiety, it has no alternative other than to keep trekking along the same path, following the same neural pathways and creating more anxiety.
What's Hypnotherapy like?
Hypnotherapy is about getting you to a relaxed focus, in turn accepting, rather than rejecting helpful suggestions. It's a nice feeling, similar to meditation, but the focus will be on change and moving you forwards.
I'm not a 'relaxotherapist'. During a session we work hard to make fast, lasting change.
Will I know I've been Hypnotised?
You won't come away 'feeling' as though you have been hypnotised, because I aim to get you to a relaxed, focused state, not to a walking zombie! Hypnosis feels good.
Will I feel normal when I leave?
You'll feel fabulous when you leave, because you're working to change things for the better .
Are you going to make me do silly things?
No, that would be of no benefit to me or you and it would be a waste of time for us both. We can have a giggle without getting you to do silly things!
I'm here to help you move forwards, in the shortest amount of time.
I can't make you do anything you don't want to do. You are able to override anything you feel is against your will.
Your values are stronger than Hypnosis.
I'm here to work with you. Between Therapist and client we form a partnership and work together.
Can Hypnotherapy really be done online?
Absolutely. Some people even prefer and respond better to online therapy. I've have great success working with clients online.
Tried other therapies and don't feel that you are moving forward?
